Important: You must read and agree to the following terms and conditions of use and licence before ordering photos/images either as single files or part of a complete disk or downloading a photo or image from our website. The use of the photos/images indicates your acknowledgment of and agreement to these terms and conditions.

If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of your employer, the licence is granted to the company and not to you as an individual, and restrictions and limitations stated herein apply to your employer. Whilst employed by that company as a representative you will also be bound by this agreement. Should you cease working for your employer, your employer may continue to operate under this agreement. You will ensure all who use the images are employed by the company and are aware of the terms and condition of the licence as stated.

All products on this site are priced in UK pounds, however, payments can be made from any country in the world. We currently accept the following payment methods: Paypal

Credit Card and Check details are collected using a SSL secured server. Where payment is by credit or debit card transaction, the person ordering must be the credit card holder or have the holder's authorisation. Should the cardholder deny authorisation at a later stage, criminal charges may be brought against the person placing the order. The billing address must be the address at which your payment card is registered.

Your address details and any other information that you provide in the course of making a purchase will remain confidential and will not be passed to any other organisation.

Please note that residents of some countries may have to pay customs or import duty charges on their order. Because these charges are levied by your government and are specific to your country, we cannot tell you how much (if anything) this will be. You are responsible for any customs or import duty charges you may incur. If you choose not to pay these charges, your package will not be released by customs and may be destroyed. In this event, we will be unable to offer you a refund. UK and EU residents will not have to pay any customs or import duties.

If, prior to delivery, you decide to cancel your order, let PICDISK know as soon as possible. The cancellation will only be effective once it has been confirmed in writing to you by PICDISK.

If there is any damage caused to the goods while they were in transit, please let us now within three days of receipt. On returning the goods to us we will either give you a full refund or replace the goods. If damage to the goods is not reported to us within three days any decision will be based on our inspection when they have been returned to us.

Once you have received your goods and you wish to cancel your order, remember the 28-day money-back guarantee. If you return your goods within 28 days we will refund you the cost of the product but not post and packing. This guarantee does not apply if you have made use of the goods. Goods should be returned in their original packaging, at your cost.

PICDISK grants you or your employer (if you are licensing on behalf of your employer) a non-sublicensable, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use images downloaded or supplied by PICDISK to use any of the photos/images obtained from PICDISK on your personal computer. The photos/images and disk may not be shared by creating a library, on an image storage device, network configuration or similar arrangement.
PICDISK retain all rights not expressly granted by this agreement. The photos/images and/or disk are licensed only to you, or your employer if you are licensing on behalf of your employer.

PICDISK images may be used as a part of advertising and promotional materials including products, print production, web design, broadcast, materials for personal and non-commercial use including compositions and layouts.

No photo/image may be sub-licensed, resold or otherwise made available for use or distribution separately or detached from a product or web page. Photos/images may not be made available for downloading separately or in a format designed or intended for permanent storage or re-use by web-site users.

One copy of each image may be made for backup purposes only, but may be used only if the original image becomes defective, or is destroyed or otherwise irretrievably lost. Except as stated in this agreement, no image, or disk may be shared or copied.

The copyright and other intellectual property rights of whatever nature in the Licensed Material are and shall remain the property of PICDISK and we reserve the right to grant licences to use the licensed material to any other parties. You shall notify PICDISK immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of the whole or any part of the licensed material by any person. You will permit PICDISK to check the use of the licensed material by you at all reasonable times.

PICDISK reserves the right to discontinue the use of any image for any reason.

The images, software and disk may not be shared by creating a library, on an image storage device, network configuration or similar arrangement. You may not de-compile, dis-assemble, reverse engineer, copy, create a derivative work, or otherwise use the compact disk or the licensed material except as stated in these terms and conditions. You may modify, recreate, publish and distribute the photos/images contained in the Licensed Material in any media whatsoever provided that at no time shall you use the licensed material to create any works which are in the opinion of PICDISK scandalous, obscene, immoral Pornographic, defamatory, libellous or otherwise unlawful use of an image. You cannot utilise the licensed material in any way to create another image library or a product similar to or competes with licensed material.

The right to use the licensed material is granted without any further warranty, condition, representation or other term express or implied relating to the performance, quality or fitness for use of the licensed material. PICDISK shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind (other than personal injury or death) arising from use of the licensed Material or from errors deficiencies or faults therein, whether such loss or damage is caused by negligence or otherwise. PICDISK warrants the photos/images, and CD’s to be free from defects in material and workmanship for 28 days from delivery. The sole and exclusive remedy for a breach of the forgoing warranty is the replacement of the photos/images or CD.

PICDISK may terminate the Licence forthwith on giving notice in writing to you if you commit any breach of any term of this Agreement and (in the case of a breach capable of remedy) shall have failed, within 14 days after receipt of a request in writing from PICDISK to remedy the breach. Forthwith upon the termination of the Licence you shall return to PICDISK the CD or in the case of downloaded photos/images destoy all copies and all copies of the same or all materials derived from the same.

You shall not be entitled to sell, assign, sub-licence or transfer the licence whether in whole or in part.

All rights to the photos/images are owned by PICDISK and are protected by United Kingdom copyright laws, and other applicable laws.
